Julie is a New York State certified elementary teacher and private tutor with a Masters in Education from Bank Street College of Education. She brings over 8 years of K-6 teaching and tutoring experience. She has taught in both private and public schools in New York City and abroad. In addition to her New York City teaching career, she has also taught in Spain, South Korea and rural Uganda.
Julie looks at each students academics needs and designs an individualized program. Julie specializes in multi-sensory teaching by providing direct personal engagement with materials. With this approach, learning becomes more relevant, personal and ultimately more meaningful.
